I live in hope that with the advent of ID8 and more advanced navigation systems the map database will one day include it for all previous versions. Emergency Corridor option does not work either not sure why but probably the same reason as TLA.

UCC works well on the open road but not that great around town and has certainly saved me a few $$$ in speeding fines.

PS Anybody who wants my cheat sheet please PM me their email address so I can send them a copy
I can't send PM yet if you can send it to me too thanks. paolo.valli@hotmail.com

It sounds like one of the land mask values might NOT be correct ie (FF,FF,FF,FF) or you have a syntax error in your FDL coding values. One minor syntax error is enough to prevent it from working
Could you please send me your cheat sheet for the G05?

Also is it possible to code flashing brake lights/Euro Anti Dazzle on 2021 G05 with Bimmercode?

I’m new user so I can’t PM you.
05.brains_magnum@icloud.com

Thanks.

Cheat sheet sent.
I have a Euro spec X5 so not familiar with anti dazzle coding for US spec models. I would think you will need BimmerUtility or ESysPlus/Ultra. Bimmercode does not give access to all ECU's in the vehicle but not 100% certain perhaps some US owners that have done the coding can confirm my assumption.

Hi all, hope you all had/are having a great festive period!

UK owner here. I’m interested in getting the most out of my G05 and naturally Bimmer Code and Bimmer Utility has peaked my interest, however… I don’t have DAP so I fear a lot of the best features are just impossible for me to code. I do have ACC with stop & go so I have some of the kit just not the cameras I believe? Could anyone point me in the direction of what would be available for me to code please? I’m most interested in the aTLA, aSLA and any other autonomy that may be available but a full list of what would be amazing also.

Thank you in advance for any help

Unfortunately you require DAP for the features you are interested in. Do you have heated seats you can automate them to turn on at a certain temp on older models? It may be standard on new MY21 plus models

Is "anticipation" activated in your cruise control options? I think that can be activated without DAP as it uses the speed sign data in the map database. There are few other cosmetic changes you can make to the instrument panel and head unit.
If you are keen to proceed to the next level I would suggest purchasing a cable and Bimmer Utility software. Bimmercode which is a smartphone App is very good for basic cosmetic coding has limitations as it does not have access to all the car's ECU's for safety reasons. It's backup system is not great and requires in my opinion the user to make notes on changes he or she does. Either way get a std OBD enet cable for Bimmer Utility and a smart phone/pad cable adapter if you opt for Bimmercode. It is a lot quicker and more reliable than using Wifi or Bluetooth Adapters

I suspected that may be the case I have the ability to auto turn on the heated seats when temps hit below a predefined temp already so covered there.

I’m not sure about the anticipation setting for cruise control, what does that do? Is it where you just need to hit the “set” button for the cruise control to change to the upcoming speed limit? If so, I do have that turned on!
I always thought the real estate on the cockpit screen was a bit wasted with very limited views available so would be good if I Callum’s add some further options to that.

Sounds like Bimmer Utility is the way to go with an OBD cable then. Thanks for your help, appreciate it.
