New no-recall-enhancement 0061860600

I've just seen this enhancement 0061860600 of type "no recall" waiting for my VIN since a few hours ago..
Anybody has any clue what's it about?
The car is status 165 on transport towards Belgium..

Mine is from production date: 2022-04-29 & I also got a call from my dealer that I am impacted by the touchscreen shortage..

I called customer care today and they told me that there were two reasons the vehicle can't be delivered
- the lack of a central display
- the lack of a charging cable

If I run my VIN through the recall tool (https://bmw-recall-tool.netlify.app/) I see 2 enhancements, so I figure these are the two reasons why my delivery is pushed back

- 0061860600 (my guess is that this indicates the charging cable)
- 0065630300 (no central display)

I read in some other posts that you also had the issue of the central display? Is this already resolved for your build?

No, they both still are "open"
If the new one is the charging cable, it's strange that's added only just now, as the central infotainment display code was there since production date 2022-05-11

I personally didn't check the recall tool during my production process (since I didn't know it existed ). But when my CA called last week it was only about the infotainment display. But the person from customer care told me about the 2 things I said in my previous post, hence my assumption that the 0061860600 is about the charging cable

Fingers crossed, hopefully they resolve their issues with shortages & soon enough we will be able to pick our builds up at our local dealer

Math20k Do you know what your expected delivery week is?
And if it is postponing from time to time ? (from the screenshot of the dealer)

Mine is still on W28, so beginning of July. The good thing is, it's staying stable but ofcourse not sure if they update it based on shortages or delays in the port..

I never received screenshots, mine was expected week 26, but now they can't make an estimate since they don't get any information from BMW

Just learned that 0061860600 is a broken charging cable. The car will not wait for it in Bremerhaven, though. Instead the dealer is supposed to order a new one and replace the cable for delivery.

Still without display.

Same here, both still open..
Saw some others indeed too on the German forum..
Hope the recalls get closed fastly, and if it's only the display that gets fixed, that the dealer can release the car without the charger.. I have one already anyway and don't need the slow 10A BMW charger..

Same here, both still open.. Called up my CA and they told me that they can't put a date on it, as there are daily deliveries by mail carriers & some days it contains 0 displays, other days 5, ...

That's disappointing. I was hoping it to be only a 2-4 weeks delay because displays are available for production now. But this sounds more like 2-4 months.

There isn't really a set date for when this issue is resolved, we can only hope for the best. In the past it was a couple of weeks, fingers crossed

My car now has status 181 (waiting for domestic dispatch).. so I guess he's sitting somewhere on a dok in Zeebrugge.. sunbathing.. waiting..
Still both recalls open and the expected delivery date in the dealer tool changed to W30.

Not sure I understand. Does it mean the display has been installed and the recall tool is out of date? Or does it mean it will be dispatch without the display to some other storage in your country?

Very sure the recalls are both still open. Also the dealers tool show a red (H) = "hold sale" on the vehicle, which means there are recalls to be done before the car be handend over to the customer..

Math20k as you are also in Belgium, do you know on which status code your is currently at and since when?

I guess for Belgium the waiting for domestic dispatch is also the location where they install the recalls before they are moving to 182 handed over to domestic transport (stobart)

I never get status codes.. What they told me is that: the center infotainment displays get retrofitted in Bremerhaven and when your car was parked in Bremerhaven they get transported by truck instead of shipped towards Zeebrugge..

My recall for the screen got closed. And also reservation for the charging cable on today.
Waiting for a new screenshot from the dealer, but at least things are moving, so let's hope W31 for me too

Mine is at status 182 since Friday and BMW program still mentions expected delivery week 30
