I'm hearing the opposite. My dealer is both BMW and Audi. He says on the Audi side, they are still being delivered with a lot of important stuff missing. The only thing missing on my X5 is the touch sensitive iDrive controller. And yes, the Audi's seem to be "who the heck knows when" as far as delivery time.

I don't put it past this particular dealership to not be fully truthful in order to get a sale. I purchased my Q7 from them and didn't have any issues, however, they did add a $23k market adjustment to the only RS Q8 they had in inventory. The salesman justified the markup by stating it was a rare vehicle I was going to buy from one of the other 2 dealers first, and use them as backup before going with the X5.

With prod date of 8/26, my 45e went into 'Dispatched From Factory' on 8/29, still to arrive to my city in Lexington, KY. Does this status mean that it is on the road in transit, or is it still at the Processing center? Anyone has already received delivery with those dates?

It means it has left the factory. I usually would be two to three days to get to Kentucky. Could have other stops though that is slowing it down.

I just moved to Status 150. My original production week was Sept 19-15. So it looks like I'm running maybe a week early.

My dealer told me that they give sold units priority over dealer inventory units, especially in the first 10 days of the production month. So it makes sense that we are seeing these cars built a bit early.

For anyone doing PCD, do you remember how long after you went to Status 150 Production Begins did you hear from the PC about picking a date?

When I spoke to the PCD rep, they have 10 days from the day your dealer submit the paperwork to give you a date. My X5 went to 150 a couple of days after my dealer submitted the paperwork and PCD gave us the date on the 10th day from paperwork submission.

Since you are at 150, can you see your Prod date yet?

Hard to pin down my dealer, but I think my PCD submission by the dealer was about 2 days before I went to status 150.
