Week 35 Build

I was also bumped to Week 35 from the original 37. Production dates changed from 9/10 to 9/5 and now 9/1 super excited!. The tracker still shows the 150 status.

Does anyone here knows when do you get the little "//M" emblem in the front fenders? I seen some X5s 50e with it and some don't.. anyone knows why? Is that part of a package? Or only available in Europe?

Not available in the US.

Far from an expert but I believe it’s a Europe thing. For some reason not in the USA. At least that’s what I’ve read on here.

As of yesterday late afternoon status was At the Port. I anticipate delivery next week even considering the holiday weekend.

Congrats! Mine has been awaiting carrier assignment since Friday AM. I fear it may be stuck there until Tuesday.

Since Thursday AM on my end. Dealer said they never see it ship the same day. 3-4 days is the average + 2 days travel time (to Houston) + 1 day unload/checkout/prep on their end.

Of course, there's always the chance they tell everyone that so that they aren't bugging them every hour...

But I'm not too optimistic due to the holiday. I'm hoping it will get on the truck on Tuesday and be ready by next Friday but there is a material chance it may not be until the following week.

FYI my status never said it shipped only a carrier was assigned. Then I got a call that it was at the dealership.

Seriously, though. Thanks for the tip. Something else the dealership warmed me about was that the website could be very inaccurate that way.

Just call Genius. They've been able to tell me down to the day when my car would enter production, when it would get on a train, when it would go through the KC hub, and when it would show up at the end of the rail line.

My dealer OTOH told me it would take 3 months to get from SC to SoCal, then texted me to say that the car was already "at port" the day it left the assembly line and would be at the dealership within 2 days. Neither of which had anything resembling a basis in fact.

I’m also wondering if mine is actually still At the Port since Thursday pm. Or if it’s actually on a truck in transit. I’m assuming to Arkansas will be via truck transporter. One would think it would have to be scanned once it’s put on a carrier then the status would update with In Transit?

Are you having any accessories installed? The updates from the carriers aren't always very timely and the system updates also lag at times.
