Just got my allocation and production number assigned this morning. Looks like I’m currently scheduled for week 40. Anyone else so far?

Congrats. And now the anticipation for the next 7 weeks or so. I picked up my M60i last Tuesday. Believe me it'll be worth the wait.

Thanks! Yes, the wait is brutal! At least this wait should be way better than the wait was for my M3 Competition a couple of years ago.

If I were to switch to an individual color, what is the typical delay in production time? 4 weeks? I’ve only ever done an individual color on M3 so not sure if the delays are the same on the X5.

I was told 4 weeks for an individual color. Cemented my decision to go with Dravit.

Thanks. That’s fairly reasonable and I don’t mind doing that to get a color I really want.

I have a week 40 build but just had a notification to say the estimated delivery date has moved from 19th November to 31st October. I feared the worse when I saw the update come through as when the order was placed as I was originally told Feb 2024 delivery!

Further to the above the delivery date has moved again and is now 19th October. Fearing this was too good to be true I checked the build status via the online BMW genius chat and my car has moved from a Week 40 build to Week 37 and is now status 150 with a VIN assigned. The car was ordered on 29th June 23 so looks like I got lucky with an allocation and then the build week coming forwards for whatever reason.

Congrats on getting bumped up!

As of now, I’ve been removed from Week 40 now after switching to an individual color. My current build week is pending but should hopefully be assigned in the coming week. Have a feeling I’ll be at least Week 44 or further now.

I purchased X6 M60i last Thursday with week 40 allocation slot. Am planning to do PCD delivery.

Fingers crossed everything progresses smoothly.

I’ve got the following on order. The photo is the one from the BMW Individual site so it doesn’t show any of the options chosen, but at least gives a bit of a depiction of the exterior color.

Hi Everyone,

New to the forum and ordered an X5 40i (currently in a 21 x3 M40i), love the power, hate the ride quality. Last I spoke with the Dealer I had a week 40 build. Trying to patiently wait but wondering if there is any hold up with anyone else. I moved to Production scheduled on the 7th after being at order received for 2 weeks. Hoping to get bumped up but not sure how often that happens. When I Got my X3 it came in 3 weeks after I put in the order. Was hoping for a similar turn around but it doesn't seem like that will happen. Btw everyone's specs look lovely.

I am week 40 as well. Expecting to move to 150 production begins by early next week.
