The actual build takes less than a day and the production date is the date it is expected to be complete.

I got a screenshot from my dealer today which had the sub.prod.week date as week 27/07/2022 but the conf.prod. week as 28/07/2022. Does anyone have any idea of the difference between the two? Sorry if this has been previously covered but can't seem to find any info on it. Thanks

Just a guess but I would say that the 27th is when the body assembly will start and the 28th is when the assembly will be complete.

VAJeff, how are things your end? Any movement with production dates at all? I have a theory that I may possibly see some movement from 150 at the back end of next week, with completion early wk28. Might be wishful thinking but I’m holding on to it..!

You can call Genius to get your production week & date. Or you can do F12 trick in your BMW Garage.

From what I've seen, you don't see any movement until a day before your production date. My Production Date is 06/29 (Week 26), and I didn't move from 150 until today.

Unfortunately as mine is a UK order, I cannot do the F12 trick . According to Genius I’m a wk 28 production but I know of some orders which were week 29 builds but are due for week 28 completion based on F12 trick. Great news on movement of your order.. fingers crossed it won’t be too long till you get it

It's July 22nd. Just talked with Genius and there is only a missing option which is passenger lumbar support from my order.

Was out on vacation all last week, not much internet action.

Looks like my production date is on the 14th of this month. Unlike others (and myself up until now), hoping it moves a little slow now. We are buying a house, and mortgage company is asking for no new loans until we close in mid August...

Wow, on my birthday! Hope you had a great holiday!! I’m currently checking daily with Genius as that’s my only method of tracking at the moment. As of yesterday, no movement.. hope the house move goes to plan. Funnily enough, we are moving in September.
