Hmm, I'd prefer to just buy local but Spartanburg is close, any downside to calling tons of random dealers and just seeing who will place the order for cheapest and quickest? Just have never gone through a BMW / order purchase before so it's all new to me. Are there dealers that people use or do group buys on here? When I had a Jeep everyone got automatic x% under invoice through a specific dealer in VA for example.

We do need a car we have a rental. Or I can let my spouse buy their car and be a "one car family" for a while. Hmm...
Yes, PCD is available. It was only shut down for a little bit during the beginning of COVID. There is no downside to contacting as many dealers as you can, you have a better chance of getting the best deal you can. It likely will delay it by a bit but tough to compare since it all depends on allocations. The dealer close to you may not have one until February but another dealer may still have December so even a two week wait for PCD would still be before your local dealer.

Any discounts from MSRP are tough to get nowadays but they do occur once and awhile. One of the founders of the "other BMW" forum does a lot of PCD orders, try contacting Jon at jshafer@bmwsm.com.

I live in Statesville and worked with Flow BMW in Winston-Salem for my custom X5. They had an allocation available and the Charlotte dealers had waitlists. I had also purchased my prior X5 from them. No discount off MSRP this time just $1,000 loyalty and finance credit. Was going to do PCD but would have been an extra 3 weeks before they had an available appointment…I was too impatient to wait so picked it up at the dealership a couple weeks ago.

Did you lease or buy? I emailed a couple dealers in the area. Some adding ADM, others about 1% under MSRP. I don't have a loyalty credit b/c it's my household's first BMW. Last car I bought years ago was $60k MSRP and I purchased for $42k so it's just the shock for me...

What is the finance credit? Think I saw on here some get 0.9%? I think one dealer said BMW offering 1.9% for qualified buyers so that's what they'd do regardless of term length. I'd probably just pay off my loan early anyway so it's moot.

There has been a $2500 credit if you finance thru BMW (1.9%) meanwhile others use a $3,000 credit from PenFed credit union. They are not stackable.

Oh I thought the $2500 APR credit was only for loyalty customers that owned a BMW but guess the loyalty is separate T&Cs for separate cash and must take delivery by Jan 3.

My CSP is $1000 and requires BMW financing but is stackable.

Looks like the PenFed requires 60 days membership to be eligible? Arg! It says $3,250 cash back, .99%, and MSRP discount for members but won't meet the 60 day requirement.

There was a $2,500 APR credit if you financed with BMW. That has not been available on the MY22s, at least nationwide as far as I know.

Yeah, I see up to $2500 offer on main BMW page for loyalty/certain models but then when I put X5 and my zip code of dealer it just says 1.9% financing and don't see the APR credit.

2 dealers added a $2k APR credit to the quote and others are saying it doesn't exist.

Maybe I'm missing something

The up to $2500 offer is only on select vehicles and includes loyalty credit(2022 3 and 5 Series excluding M's)

Since I am getting the 22" wheels I'm considering the wheel and tire package. I assume it will be 5yr plus cosmetic through dealer.

What would be a reasonable price and how do I negotiate this? I know finance will have tons of markup on any warranties and contracts.

I'm placing my order today!

Any updates for December? Haven't seen anything yet.

Checking on BMWUSA it look like there isn't a change.

Anyone finding any deals or rebates on x5's? Specifically an M50i or X5M?

I've talked to a few dealers so far and the best I have found is MSRP.

I've found one or 2 that will do MSRP, but the worst was a particular BMW dealership in Bergen County, NJ who was adding $5-$10K over MSRP .

What a money-grab.

That's Crazy. Most BMW Dealers I spoke to across several states were MSRP, but that's about it.

if i'm guessing you are talking about the BMW dealership in Ramsey.
They always have the worst prices. I just go to BMW Park Ave and get the best deals. Park Ave told me they even do m3's/4's at MSRP.

The sales guy i have at Park Ave is a relationship manager not a sales person. Ie. he doesn't try to rip your face off.. i'm on my 5th lease with him.

now i've run into some regular sales folks there, that aren't good so finding the right person matter.

If it is an OL event - it would not apply to a sold order.

Depending on timing some dealers sneak in an OL code but of course if they get caught in an audit they likely would regret doing so.

Jason, I was starting to worry about you! I feel like I when i looked this morning the last data was October.

I'm glad you are back, healthy and posting.

but for the rest of us.... how can these numbers keep getting worse.
i am on my 5th BMW, and want to keep the streak going but seriously...

maybe i should go ahead and just buy one.. that will ensure this is the absolute worst time to pull the trigger, and everyone else will would benefit from it.
