Differential Binding?

My 10/2018 build has begun binding when on full steering lock, at about 2 to 7 mph, especially in reverse. Apparently there’s a service bulletin for G series BMWs in a build date range (not exclusively X5s) for which they’re prescribing new/different differential fluid. Mine’s in the shop now, awaiting for that fluid to arrive and be installed. Anyone else experienced this?

These things are in many different Manufacturers. Just about all. From basic limited slip in Pickups to fancy Electronic control.
If it not the electronic control, computer, sensors, solenoids— it is back to the basics. Millions out there. Clutch packs, spring pressure.
Very first thing to do is to change the Fluid. There are Lubs and or additives that can help.
First thing to do is what the Dealer is doing.
