Not sure what you mean by "connect to antenna" but it just deletes the wireless charging component.

Not sure about 40i, 45e, or 50i model orders, but with my X6M order HK is a standard option and has confirmed available for my order. I believe it's one of these things where they save the limited HK system availabilities for all the X5M and X6M orders and the lower models gets shafted.

BTW, the build code for HK Sound System is 688.

I'm waiting for my dealership to confirm with BMW headquarters tomorrow (Mon 1/10/2022) to see if they can manually put in the B&W (6F1) system upgrade for my X6M order.

allinon72, I believe he is asking about the LTE booster (compensator)

simonelwell yes, the compensator is not installed if wireless charging is not installed. someone in another thread recently confirmed it was not there when he looked for it in the back of his MY22 G05 that didn't come with wireless charging

If I want to buy a wireless charger and install it, how much do you think it would cost? BMW deducted 300 for this. I suspect we can probably do it for about this much if not for the card key. But the tricky part is I have the card key (2022) and it is harder to get the more current part.

Today I ordered an X5 45e M sport in Belgium (Europe). I ordered HK sound and opted for the 50 year anniversary badge at no extra charge. My sales said that there was no longer a problem with ordering HK sound.

If one is building/order a vehicle, how/when do you know if the radio (B&W or HK) has been added or deleted? wireless charging?

Wireless Charging needs to be requested. Costs $500… we added it then removed it after reading reviews/feedback here about it.

Exactly what I did. And when it was removed the WiFi hotspot stayed, which is pretty cool. Though, I doubt I'll use that either.

I ordered in October my SA told me there and then that Wireless charging was deleted (should have been a standard feature)... Car was built in December and SA told me it had been added back on as standard (no additional charge).....

but you should know when you order if its on or not but its possible if there were shortages it could be taken off before actual production.... im in Ireland so maybe different for US customers
