Also been wondering if now that mine won't be built til at least January if not later whether I'll get the anniversary M roundel or not.

You are right, I forgot there's Mineral White in addition to the Alpin White in the standard lineup.

X5 45e M-sport all black
Order: Dec 16th 2021
Est. delivery: Half of July 2022
Had to drop wireless charging, heated cupholders and HK, otherwise any of these options would have postponed delivery to 2023. Car will also be delivered without Apple Carplay activated, that will be done for free in August 2022.
I've also ordered the trailer hitch, which is why it's only for July, otherwise it would have been in Belgium around April..

Hey 2dangerous and FullFatDoom, my future X5 is at the dealership!

The bad thing is that the dealership is three hours away and I can't go this week. I've talked to the CA and it's no problem, but after waiting all this time, I'm ready to drive it!

Hope you guys get yours soon.

LSU_Man great update man.

Finally my X6 moved to Awaiting Carrier Assignment. It moved to Quality check on night of 12/17 and I was getting nervous. Now just a waiting game. My dealership is about an hour, not crazy, however, i am debating to take delivery in this tax year vs. next. I mean if the car makes it to the dealership before End of the Year.

Great news LSU_Man ! Did they say anything about the MSO? My rep told me BMW sends it 3-5 days after the vehicle arrives so I can't pick it up until they get that paperwork. Were you given similar information?

Back in Scheduled for Production!

Called genius and currently scheduled for W3

No deletes yet but they are still seeing some, but not as many.

Seeing delays at rail centers on the west coast. Can be extra couple of weeks from rail hub to dealer they said.

Estimate end of March at the absolute latest for delivery even though completion is likely in January.

All X (1-7) models are made in the US in South Carolina.

Btw I also asked genius line about the 50th anniversary roundel. they said it's only for cars ORDERED in January and PRODUCED March or later. So if you are before March Production week and have M or M package you will NOT get the special roundel.

- X5/6/7: USA
- X3/4: USA, China, South Africa

Up until 12/20, Genius told me 2nd week of Jan. for production. On 12/16, my CA contacted me about PCD options of 1/28/2022 (originally said 12/28, but then corrected it.) Mine had scheduled production date for 1/20 but got moved up to 1/14. Been in awaiting carrier assignment since.

Not sure when it will be delivered. Is that something that your CA or Genius line usually communicates or is that later?

I'm in California so I figure it'll take some time to get out here.

Today I checked MYBMW garage page about 8:00 AM and it still had the production number listed. Got a call from my CA at 11:16 AM and he had my VIN. Checked the garage page and it did have the VIN number.

CA said build date of 2/6.

MYBMW app did not allow me to add the car until 9:30 PM and the picture it now shows is a tarp covered vehicle.
