Arrived as ordered...no deletions. Tow hitch wasn't an available option at order time. Nor was wireless charging or premium audio. I'll probably add a new amp at some point. Interestingly, my wife and I purchased her a custom Mini Cooper S at the same time (her's was delivered just after new years), HK audio was available and it arrived with it. She teases me now about her car costing 1/2 as much and having a better audio system.

The X5 is at the detailer right now getting tint and ceramic...already miss it. It's a fantastic vehicle, so glad we purchased it.

I placed my order at the beginning of November and the car is in build now (spoke with Genius yesterday), ETA for completion 1/13. My Garage, however, still shows "production begins" for two weeks now.

At the time when I placed the order, the hitch option was removed, but I see it is added on bmwusa site now - https://www.bmwusa.com/build-your-ow...vmj43v/options, what a bummer.

I'm assuming that I'm out of luck with getting the hitch added, anyone had luck adding such items that late in the game?

my still says 1/15 but this is this coming Saturday and Monday is the Holiday, so I don't expect to see any movements until next Tuesday the 1/18 as well!

I am able to track in MyGarage, but I'm only seeing a little bit of information using a Mac and Chrome. I have the indication of "Scheduled for production" and production number, but no build week. Is that a phone call or should I be seeing that on MyGarage too?

Sadly once your vehicle goes into "Production Begins", there isn't any way to change it. My car went into Production Begins the day that the Tow Hitch became available and they wouldn't make an exception to add it. The BMW Genius basically said that they almost never see exceptions occur once the vehicle hits Production Begins.

I even contemplated just putting in a new order but the issue there is that some other features might get axed in the future (we're seeing it with Android Auto and Apple Carplay now) due to supply issues.

will be listed closer to the bottom

On a Mac with touch bar, Press and hold the Fn (Function) key on your keyboard to see F1 through F12 in the Touch Bar.

Or use Safari:

2. Select My Vehicles page
3. Safari | Preferences | Advanced |
4. Check Show Developer menu in menu bar
5. Right-click to show popup menu
6. Select Inspect Element
7. Click Network tab

Just updated. Mine is now 154 Final Assembly. Worker bees have been busy today. Production date moved from 01/15 to 01/18 probably due to the holiday weekend.
