Any problems with the 2019 X5's? Noob Looking to buy.
I went to test drive a 22' X5 and man is it a great ride but it's too much $. I'm looking at a 2019 X5 with premium package 2 and the M package. 35k miles for $56k, is it worth it?
Are there any problems I should look for? How reliable is this motor and transmission? I heard the ZF8 is one of the best in the industry. |

I have the 5.0 and it is fully loaded. I have no problems and I have not been kind to my car. I have 34k.
You do have warranty for another year. Just from experience, any German car outside of warranty you should have a few thousand in the bank ready for repairs. Motor and transmission are excellent. It's other issues that will cost you. |

We've got a 2019 X5 40i with 31k miles. It's been perfect. It's my wife's car, but I use when we take car trips or trips to the snow because it's so comfortable and has AWD. We plan to keep it for years.
When you find one you like, check its history and get it inspected. If you test drive it and like it, go for it. |

I recommend you have some reliable garage do a thorough check. I bought a second-hand 3-series and, a month later, found it was involved in a minor accident and fixed.

As I posted there, I only had a minor issue with my '19 40i. Great engine and trans. Assume you'd be getting CPO. |
