Apologies that I've added unnecessary confusion: yes, it is 66.56mm, not 66.66mm. Precision is important, no doubt, and I wasn't precise. But ... this is not material to the discussion. What is important is that it is 66.6ish, not 66.0, and definitely not 74.1. The 0.1mm difference between 66.56 and 66.66 is immaterial.

By the way, my imprecision was due to the 66.66 spec in reference to Audis or Mercs, IIRC. Great to have standards, huh .

I have 22" inch wheels on my M50i and I'm debating the 20" Style 748M for my winter setup. I'd prefer to have 21" winter wheels and I'm looking for OEM. Does anyone know if the 808M's, part number
36112471521, would fit on the G05?

Not everyone is willing to tell shops how to do their jobs, but they should just pull out their electronic vernier callipers and measure everything to get to root cause without guesses. From the sounds of it, one way or another this rim is not going to fit. It could be the bore, it could be adapter rings, it could be bolt pattern, it could be interference with brake calliper, it could be interference with some other part of the wheel well assembly. After root cause is figured out, you can then blame the right parties and figure out how to fix.

Unfortunately these are the kinds of issues one runs into when not either a) buying stock from BMW or b) getting a turnkey shop to do everything as a single responsibility — it makes the vendor 100% responsible for all errors and uncertainties. If it's not a) or b), then you need to do EVERYTHING yourself, including measurements and test fitments before tire mounting — it's a pain, but there is no shortcut and luck is unlikely. I've posted before that there are a lot of moving pieces with custom rims.
So I was really interested to find out what the real issue was. You are correct, a tire shop should tell me what the root cause is (and everyone is saying the centre bore size is 66.56, I even measured it myself and it was correct). I took the vehicle today to a second shop, and they said it will not fit, but NOT due to centre bore size, but due to the brake calipers! The first shop said it was the centre hub size, so they clearly did not properly evaluate the fit. It has the M brake package, so I need to find an alternative.

Any recommendations (in Canada)?

Hi,
Selling my Pirelli Scorpion Winter Tires off my 2021 x5
Front: 275/35 r22 purchased from tire rack 2 year warranty
Rear: 315/30 r22 purchased from bmw/1 year warranty

I just bought them less than a month ago and they have less than 1,000 miles on them. Turns out I’m getting rid of my x5 so I’m looking to sell the winter tires.

Are those 285/45/20? Looks like a ski monster! Any pro/con on this size set-up now that had them for a while?

I have the BMW 19 inch 735 wheels with winter wheels on my 45e with blue M brakes. I have had them for the second season and will put them on again this winter. I haven't had any problems.

My dealer said it wouldn't be a problem. The German site says it is not possible to put 19 inch wheels with m sport brakes. I think this might be about the brakes on the M50i

Do you recall which spacers you purchased? I just got the same wheels as you, but 20x9 square setup. I'm looking to add spacers

ARQVE36 Did you end up with 295/35/21 winter set-up?

maxemus Are your 285's on 20inch or 21inch wheels? Still love that aggressive set-up.

I'm wondering if anyone has a staggered 21" set-up and has put 285/40/21 square set-up on them? Ex. such as on the 741m wheel?

I just had my winter set installed yesterday. I have the 22" 742M with summers. I wanted a winter setup also with 22", but options were obviously limited. To enhance the selection options, I went with a square setup. Here's my fitment:

22X9 Rohanna RFX11 35mm offset
275/35R22 Nitto NT420V All Season

So far, I like how the Nitto tires are handling. They are just as quiet and have great grip.
