Does anyone have 12% off in Chicago? If so please PM me dealer. If I can get 12% plus the $4500 which I believe is loyalty and the winter road home discount, I would do it.

The MSRP was $82,145 plus $995 delivery
The invoice was around $77,216.30
The price was $2k under invoice - around $75,145 (around 9% msrp)
Then I got $4,500 ($1,000 Ultimate pre sales tax and $3,500 Road home event after sales tax).
NJ Sales tax of $4,892 and some small license fees, registration (dealer removed the doc fee of $699)
The Out of the door was around $75,200.

In a few months, I am getting the $7,500 tax credit for the personal taxes.

The cost of the car (after tax incentives) is $67,700, which is a more than reasonable cost for an X5 45e fully loaded.

Then, if you are business owner, you can run it through the company getting depreciation or full depreciation (Sec 179) and benefit of the 199A deduction (probably to be removed by Biden next year), so even better for your personal taxes.
Hi Finito84, would you also let me know the dealer and salesperson? Thank you

I ended up with ordering X5 here, local in Alaska. Got around 6.5% off + $3,500rebates (cheap doc fee $200) 0.9% APR, which is not bad since we rarely see any car discounts here in Alaska since we have only few car dealers. Probably could get 8-12% in lower 48, but shipping from Tacoma to Anchorage is $2300 and also I would have somehow to get the car to Tacoma, and I don't have to worry that such expensive car will be shipped overseas by 3rd party company etc..

45 NC purchase

I ordered mine a few days ago:
MSRP: 71995
Rebates/Discounts: 7219
Tax: 2050
Tag and Title: 95
Amin Fee 579
Total Out 67500

I didn't get the financing yet, but have reached out to get the 0.9% APR/$2,500 rebate, so it may drop even more (total price and taxes would be affected).

get the financing sorted out BEFORE you get the car. the terms are always worst if you wait.

ALWAYS negotiate a complete deal including all financing terms, or you will have a surprise. dealer will leverage your lack of preparation

You are right! I didn't get another $2,500 off, but will get the 0.9% APR. He told me that discount is already included. My argument that the discount already included didn't contemplate me financing through BMW didn't work. I still view this as a good deal though. Overall a discount consistent with what others are getting, and 0.9% financing can't be beat in the marketplace. With federal rebate of $7,500 next year (as i take my delivery in 2021), my out the door price is $60K.

The selling price of the vehicle should be the same whether it is a lease or a purchase. Ether way the dealer gets the money. One technique in negotiating the selling price is to not let the dealer know if you are going to lease or purchase.

There are a number of members from that area that will hopefully chime in. I think most go South to get the better deals.

The discount should be the same for finance, cash, or lease.

I'm working with GM of a new BMW dealer in OR. I was just talking to him to schedule the delivery as my cars are already shipped.

PM me your information and I can loop you in thru email with him.

Florida Dealer

So without negotiating you can get 9% off from him. After that depending on their mood you may be able to strecht it.

This was a deal on a new order, not an inventory car.

My feeling is that they want higher margin from the inventory cars, because these are targeted to 'impatient buyer' who are not willing to wait or do the research to get better deals.

anyways PM me if you want his infos.

Phil.

Hi Phil.

I am looking for a new 45e in South Florida. Would you be willing to share your dealership/salesman details?

Regards.
