BMW clock is running late than Carplay
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com I faced this issue many time with BMW clock. I adjusted the time to be exactly as current time. After few days I noticed that the is running late compared with Carplay. Does anyone have similar problem? My car is 2020 X5 M |

how much of a difference? if using automatic setting, they use different sources. the iPhone gets its time from your cellular service provider. the BMW clock likely gets its time from a GPS source. If using manual setting, not all digital time pieces keep the same time (just like analog).

from another thread:
"This often happens with stock batteries and Ms that are not driven regularly as there is a lot of bus activity going on behind the scenes after ignition cutoff. Either the M needs to be driven, or invest in a battery tender if stored for long periods of time." |
