Exclamation E85 on stock setup question

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Does anyone run E85 on their X6MC/X5MC stock setup?
If so what is the safe ratio of E85 to 94 octane fuel?, and would that be the same if someone were running a piggy back like racechip or JB4?

Interested in this as well.

Typically I won't mess with fuel mixtures unless I can monitor the engine so I can dial in my mixtures... I know you can simple do math to get the octane but I like to watch it live via a tuner after a flash.... So I've never used a piggy back to do this. On the other hand I typically use a lot of Meth too.

I used to run 3 or 4 gallons of E85 in my 94 octane with my S55 M4 and a flash tune, I heard you can run the same with a JB4. I'm installing a Racechip on the weekend and it would be nice to know both stock and piggy tuned options.

e85 will do nothing without a tune and proper gapped spark plugs (NGK)

also e85 burns way faster that unleaded gasoline
so if you are not using it for performance
you are just burning cash

yep, if you want to run e85 you should tune the car to E85 as it consumes far more fuel, furthermore you should also increase size of injectors as fuel demand is greater..
