Does anyone know the name or where we can purchase this hood for the us market? Love the way it resembles the f80 cs hood.

I love that hood for the X5 the X6 are different but just as great looking. I got on the manufactures web site www.rgn-t.com and looked at it. looks like the X6 hood has some vents in it to let some of that hot air from under the hood. Our 6 engine cover gets to 147 deg.

$2600 shipped. Then probably another $1500 painted and installed minimum. Wonder what the wife will say about that? New wheels may be easer for her to accept.

Around $5K for a simple hood upgrade? You better keep that car for a while.

It would be interesting to see if they have water channels in the openings. There are lots of cars with functional heat extractors that don't have issues with water, but I would guess that all of those OEM hoods have ways to keep the water from hitting the engine. I don't know if aftermarket companies think about/design that into their hoods.

That's the company called PARADIGM in mother Russia. They manufacture full kits for pretty much any BMW. Check them on Instagram. I'm getting a full kit from them in fall for my X5.
