No such thing is better tune until you blow your engine and you find out that 1 less step was the best tune.
Any company will claim a higher power etc.
But all I can tell you, RaceChip is a safe tune and not too aggressive.
Otherwise, these companies won’t private label the RaceChip, instead is the other brand with more track record in blowing up engine.

Yes, I figured Dinan was just purchasing it from racechip Just looks to me that they de tuned it a little bit which is perfectly fine. It might’ve been in their contract and they had to retail it as a private label. Think I’m gonna order the other one also change them out.

Do you find that all of the DP’s from AA our triggering, the cel ? And is the only way to turn off this light is to install a mil from Germany

AFAIK, AA guaranteed no CEL on their catted dp.
The other German module thing seems to be working too.

And what would one do if it’s installed and it does trigger the light ? Consult the manufacturer ?

Was wondering if anybody has installed the RaceChip GTS black I received it, but it only came with a wiring harness A and b the dinan tune had abc wiring harness when I talk to the by email they said we will get back to you four days later, I received a new, harness in the mail from Germany, now with abc I’m just wondering if this is going to work with the tuning box they sent they kind of acted like what I had was not a mild hybrid. I told them it was non-plug-in. Maybe they got confused

Just hit them up to double check.
That’s why most of forum members get them from me, because I have access to what map on the units that I’ve sold.
Since you purchase directly from Germany, I can’t see it.
Unless if you want to send it to me and I can check it and reprogram as needed, but it will cost you a fee. Again, since it didn’t come from my batches.
Hope they can help you sorting out the problem that you are having.

So for the x5 40i x drive , mine is a mild hybrid. That’s what I selected on their website. Would that be correct?

Not sure which 40i that you have.
BMW has 3 different versions of 40i variant.
Basic 40i from early year, Early Mild Hybrid 40i with 333hp, and Latest Mild Hybrid 40i with 381hp.

I did get a hold of them in Germany. They sent an update to My App to update the software mine is the 333 HP and they sent a new wiring harness with abc I installed it haven’t drove it yet I’m hoping it’s better than the dinan tune.

I have a 2024 X5 40i mild hybrid (375 HP/381PS). The unit I got also only had A and B harness. You got me worried now. I’ll definitely reach out to them.

Hey guys, I'm seriously thinking of ordering the RC GTS for by 2021 40i and was wondering what maps (1-7) people run theirs on a day-to-day basis?

Once installed, should you start at a low map (1-3) or can you go straight to 7?

BTW I am VERY new to any form of tuning, but I'm very competant technicallly so I have a high level of confidence I can install this thing right.

Appreciate any guidance you can give me.....

You can go to map 7 right away. Only a few of my customers started with map 5 or 6, but once they go map 7, they never go back.
