BMW in Nashville is giving 3-4% off MSRP on the 40i without even negotiating. Plan on going and seeing if I can get it to 5-6% range for a custom build.

If I remember correctly it ended the third week of September or so.

Curious if anyone is having issues sourcing a 2022 X5 in the NY/NJ area? I've been trying to get one over the past month and every dealership is quoting $5k above MSRP

I had the same experience for X3 M40i… ended up paying MSRP minus loyalty and finance rebates ($1500 total). This was at Ramsey

I live in southeastern PA and had to go to another dealership than the one I had been dealing with for the last 6 years. I placed a custom order on 9/17 for a X5 M50i and should be picking it up in 2-3weeks. Received 3.5% off MSRP- BMW Lancaster, PA. I'll also get the loyalty and PennFed and approximately $9,000 equity on the 2019 I'm trading in (lease expiring). Everything was done via phone and email- very good experience.

Also- I am getting the MF at .00093. A lot of dealerships are marking it up- including my old dealership.

I am in NC and in the market for XDrive45e. After asking around local and remote dealers, I finally found a dealer who said repeatedly they had allocation. Only after I paid the deposit they were giving excuses for not having the production number. Finally, this Friday after BMW dropped the allocation still no production number and I finally cancelled my order with them.

Back in the market again. If anyone has any lead on possible dealer recommendations please PM. Thanks.

thank you lc21, I did reach out to them, they don't have an allocation and also not working with out-of-state customers.

I talked to them again today, they had an allocation but I also found another one in NC and went with them. All are at MSRP though.

Yea, I had a few dealers say they'd do a build at MSRP and both tried to bait and switch last minute with a 3k and 4.5k premium.

Appreciate the replies!

I got 3% off of MSRP on a loaded '22 X5 xDrive40i plus $750 loyalty in DFW. My first custom build, super excited for it.

I've not signed any paperwork yet, but the price they're giving me is the same price as if I built it on the BMW USA website - (the Loyalty (750) + Military (500) incentives)

I've not bought a car in so long I have a bad feeling I'm going to "overpay" given the lack of features missing right now in conjunction with the demand, especially since dealers don't have to negotiate. (it seems)

No MSRP discounts here in Portland, OR. I've talked to 2 dealers, the price is the price.

Same in NYC. 0% off MSRP on my custom build xDrive 40i M Sport. I was given a production number the same day I gave the deposit--I guess they had allocation. Dealer said the estimated build week is 47. As far as discounts, he told me the price via Build Your Own is the price. And for some models like the M3, people are paying 7% over sticker...

My first post... Hopefully to contribute just a little... I've been following a couple of MSRP threads recently but did not see anyone mentioned the use of BMW Group Corporate Sales Program discount. I ordered 2022 X5 on 10/5 and got MSRP as well (Currently "In Transit" status and should arrive at the dealer mid-Nov). With the corporate sales program discount, I got $750 off. 0.9% LOL... Well, the way I look at it is, better than paying MSRP. If I recall correctly, the corp sales program discount is somewhere from $750 to $1200+ depends on the model. If you work for a big corporation, don't forget to check with your HR to see if the company you work for participates in these perks programs.

FWIW, I picked up my x5 m50i today and payed full msrp less $1,000 corporate discount. I tried to negotiate 2% off and basically got laughed at…was told I’m lucky they aren’t asking for a premium.

100% worth it though. What a beast!

I am on Long Island and no one is discounting off of MSRP. Most are adding a premium. I did order a 2022 X5 40i with quite a few options and Got it at sticker. Dealer would not entertain a discussion around discounts and said most other dealers are adding a premium and they are not(lucky me). The dealer had allocation as they are one of the largest and I did receive my production number 3 days after signing and leaving a deposit for week 47 build I am purchasing the car as the lease cost just did not make sense as it would cost me close to 45k over 3 years.

I will say that I am coming out of a lease on a grand Cherokee and I just purchased it a month before the lease is up. The dealer offered me $8.5k more than my lease buy out. So I just consider the 8.5k as my discount off of sticker as there is no way in normal times that the car would have that type of premium value coming off of lease..

in the NY/NJ area, dealers are 0% off or premium for x5 40i

$5000 over on 45e, M50, and M

Brokers in the area should be able to get you 3-4% off before incentives with a base MF or finance rate

Hey, if you want to reach out to me in a message of what you are looking for. I work at Rallye in NY and we are doing MSRP or a little over depending on the build needed.

Same for me. My Infiniti Q50 lease just expired and the dealer bought the car from me for $8k above the buyout price. I just considered that to be my x5 “discount”.
