I ordered an X-Line with Sunstone Metallic and every option allowed. When I choose the Driving Assistance Plus Package it tells me I cannot select Sunstone Metallic?

It is not properly set in line with the ordering guide.

I hate it, but bought it anyway. Looks way too busy for my taste, don’t know what they were thinking. BMW really needs to get some help with their color and design selections. Blah paint and busy seats. My last four have been black sapphire because of that.

Talked to my dealer this morning and he confirmed that BMW changed my order to a White color from Sunstone Metallic. They did not notify the dealer! So it seems that something about a paint color doesn’t allow the Driving Assistance Plus Package to function? Have to say that BMW is blowing this launch so far.

I asked my dealer to remove Driving Assistance Plus Package and add the color I wanted back.

Keep an eye on your orders or else you may get something you don’t want.

Opinions on whether extended merino coffee leather vs. ivory white would look better with carbon black exterior and fineline stripe brown high-gloss wood trim?

Also, are people tending to opt for the luggage compartment package, or ehh? I'm assuming you still get the luggage cover without the package, but it would be a cover you have to manually use?

I love the ivory white, have it in my current 18. BUT you have to take care of it and clean it, it attracts blue jean colors. Nice contrast to the black exterior.

I was a Lexol person for years until someone here told me about Swissvax. That stuff is amazing. Costs a little more but works great on the ivory.

Does anyone know if the trailer hitch is a true Class IV receiver or is it just the weird hook that comes out from the bottom? I want to be able to attach a bike rack.

Its a regular square receiver tube - at least in the US.
