I was a bit bummed about not being able to get HK audio and wireless charging. These parts shortages are the worst!

I have a x5 without the HK and a 540 with it and yes it is better than the Base It is most definitely not a deal breaker ( for me atleast ). Hi-Fi gets the job done
I will add the base system was decent from the small amount of time I spent with it on a test drive. Pretty good bass I thought.

Alas I would really like the B&W system... had it on a Volvo and it was glorious... aside from some door rattles.

it's actually probably a blessing in disguise. I'm a sucker for premium audio systems and right now with the family in the car 95% of the time... why spend the money on it? I can barely enjoy it anyways.

Thanks!
Sounds like a great deal. I called 3 dealers in Southern CA and they are not budging from MSRP for in stock x5 45e. Either I’m a bad negotiator or the supply is low. Thoughts? Does everyone just straight out ask for a percent off MSRP? Thanks.

Ultimately I ended up at 7.6% off before incentives. 9 or 10% off would've been nice, but at a certain point it was pretty clear that wasn't going to happen.
That’s not a bad deal. SoCal dealers are not moving off MSRP.

In hindsight, yeah. I think it's the same thing basically anywhere in California, no one is going below MSRP.

Just try to see what they can offer for 2021 X5 Xdrive45e at Fairfield, CA location. MSRP was $75,495 and they offered $78,495. Above the MSRP price!

If anyone know any dealership in CA, that is offering any % off the MSRP, let me know. I am no hurry to get it and have X3 M40i with low mileages that I will be trading in.

San Mateo offered me a slight discount off a 2022 order a couple days ago. Their offer was $1400 off MSRP plus any applicable rebates. That's still a bit pricey for me so I didn't take them up on it, plus I'm not in a hurry right now as well.

I'm also in MD and PedFed member. Would you mind sharing the dealer/SA either here or via PM? My SA left the dealer since I got my 2019 X5 lease so I'm not really tied to any dealer. Did you use the USAA/PedFed discount for lease? Thanks in advance!

I will PM you. I am buying, so choice was financing credit via BMWFS or USAA discount, which is much higher right now as the BMWFS credit dropped to 2k.

Just ordered a MY22 and was convinced by the dealership that they aren't budging a penny from MSRP in this crazy market. Guess I got screwed.

I heard back from another dealership in NorCal and was offered $2000 off MSRP on 2022 x5 45e. I haven't taken that deal and will try to see if I can counter offer.

They probably aren't lieing.. that they aren't budging on MSRP. You can always try other dealers or even a broker in the future.

I actually initially was shopping for Denalis and they were all charging market adjustments anywhere from $4k-15k above MSRP so when I made the switch over to the X5 paying MSRP felt like a deal. But now I'm reading how much people have gotten off MSRP even recently and I'm a bit disappointed in myself. That said, I really wanted to order unique X5 so going with MY22 and a custom LRG one at that probably eliminated any chance of paying under MSRP anyway. At least that's what I'm going to tell myself.

MY22 x40i M sport with 20" wheels in lime rock grey with executive package, driving assist, parking assist basically everything except the heated rear seats. I'm extremely anxious and excited to get it but sick to my stomach that I paid full MSRP in MD while a poster in this thread just got 7% off in MD. Not sure why this dealership was so stuck at full MSRP if discounts are still happening elsewhere. Not a ton of nearby dealerships to compare against.

My advice is to not compare your deal to any others on here. You were satisfied enough with the numbers to sign the deal so why even worry about what others have done? Just enjoy the wait for your new X5, maybe read the manual a time or two. Here is a link to the online manual, just enter your VIN (or one from a dealer's lot with a similar build). https://www.bmwusa.com/owners-manuals.html

Once you get yours and start driving, you are going to forget all about other people's deals, and yours for the matter, and just relish the time in your new X5.

Wise words. I've got a trade in they'll be reevaluating when the time comes so if they mess with me I guess we'll see how much they care about customer satisfaction. Until then, waiting and rewatching every X5 YouTube video there is in anticipation.

Lot's of folks have paid full price lately. If the buy in doesn't hinder you elsewhere then just enjoy.
