Windshield PPF

So..am leaning into using Stek PPF on the front half of the car, and the SA mentioned a front windshield PPF is available too. Has anyone ever had their front windshield ppf'd? Thoughts?

Clearplex? Tried it once but took it off because of the quality. Its a pain to install, my PPF guy tried it on several cars and they never turned out great so he stopped offering. Clearplex has been around for many years, but never really taken hold.

If it were a daily/track car it might be worth it. I hate those little chips in the soft glass and really wanted to like it.

Curious what your dealer of offering.

Had it on a new 911. Within 1 month of new a rock hit resulted in a cracked windshield. Won’t waste the money again. May work for others.

My detailer actually convinced me not to get PPF on my windshield. He told me he would if I really wanted it but didn't see any real value in it. But if you're prone to rocks hitting your windshield, might be a worthy investment.
