I think it varies. Mine was in QC for about a day.

Hmmm that might push out beyond 10/16...my 45e has been in transit since last week and I honestly don't think it will get to the dealer till next week at the earliest more likely end of month

It is now awaiting carrier assignment. I believe that means it's waiting to get on the truck to my dealer right? Shouldn't need to go to port or anything that I know of?

I think that's right...there are steps that it goes to port etc but mine skipped over them quick as it is not needed shipping from the So Carolina. As of this morning am still in transit - guess traffic doesn't only happen in LA

Mine is dispatched from factory since Saturday. Dealer called and setup delivery for Friday. Guessing that means it should arrive at dealer Thursday so they can prep it?

Just spoke to BMW Genius and it is arriving at the processing center tomorrow and they will have a definite delivery date in 2 - 3 days so I think it's in next week or so and it's my dealer.

Mine is "awaiting carrier assignment" - getting excited and reALLY hoping the dealer try to change the deal on me ... it's getting grim out there...
