All safety systems randomly turned off

Has anyone encountered any issues with the safety systems? Mine has been acting up the past couple days. I thought the system would reset itself overnight but the problem is still there.

I double checked all the sensors around the car and none are obstructed in any way.

Have you tried rebooting iDrive?

I had the same problem two weeks after delivery and 1,000 miles. I brought it in for service and they determined the LF short range radar sensor was incorrectly installed from the factory. Needless to say I was disappointed and I'm still wondering why the safety sensors functioned correctly for the first two weeks and 1,000 miles.

I made myself feel a little better with the 330i loaner. Let's just say I got a real good idea of what the car is capable of

Did they just replace the sensor and the car was working fine again?

Was it a long wait for the part to come in. I have just under 2k miles. First BMW in a long time that I've had issues with.

All they did was adjust the sensor and reset the error codes. It was done in a matter of hours. Long enough for me to give the 330i loaner a few hell rides!

Great good to know thanks.

The car needs to go back anyways. I brought it for the 1200 miles break in service and they couldn't do it due to recalled oil filter. Or at least what they're claiming.
