I see as of early this morning most all car publications offered their "First Drive" reviews, which are only minutely more informative than information provided already. One of the better ones is from Autogefuhl:

This guy from Motor1 is a complete tool IMHO. Can't wait for the real world testing, but at least we are getting closer every day.

I can tell you that a handful of people that saw it at my store yesterday loved it and now hate their F15s LOL

This crossover is a pain in the ass to steer. There's an absence of steering feel that makes it really hard to place this car in a lane, especially as lanes get narrower and the pavement curvier, as they did on our trek back into Altanta. We had to make constant adjustments, but those adjustments required even further adjustment as we tried to aim the X5 a little more into the corner, or to offset earlier overcompensation.
Not a very good impression from Autoblog.

It sounds like the rear steer is not liked, some of the reviews are saying the steering is excellent, others not so much.

Man I hate this trend. Make a car drive the way it should all of the time. Let people that want a Buick buy a Buick, not default your capable car to a dumbed down state each time you get in it.

Looks pretty, now make it electric

Much prettier than the last two generations. Hope it handles better than last gen. Love that blue.

Friendly suggestion to BMW - let's have an all-electric version with 300+ mile range available in the next 3 years. Or risk being irrelevant. Dead serious and they know it.

M sport brakes on non M sport SUV

Interesting..

all these reviews show a Blue 40 X5 in X Line design..

You can't get the M sport brakes on that vehicle... only on the M sport
line... atleast on the BMWUSA configurator..
