CANBUS Help!!

Hi all,

I've purchased an active sound unit from Cete Automotive, and to install its saying I need to connect up to the

White/yellow
White/blue

CANBUS.

I've literally pulled all of the wrapping tape off from the right hand side in boot where the fuse box is, but can't find these specific colours.

Does anyone have any ideas as to where I can find these colour CANBUS cables???

Car: G05 MY20

Thanks!
David

Any help appreciated

why would you even do something like this?

CanBus works only with very specific parameters, if you just cut into CAN HI and CAN LOW without a proper connection you will cause your entire car to do random unwanted things like: randomly shutdown, or go neutral, or idle, or something worse. it's highly unlikely you will find a can hi and can low "spare" set.

Ok, I've managed to figure it out....!

Basically the G05 only has a CANBUS cable to connect to in the drivers footwell (UK Spec).

The colour cable you need to connect to is;

Yellow/Black & Yellow/White

This is connected to the COM cable, removing the connector block makes the job a lot easier.

All connected up now, will post video over the weekend of the sound module fitted!

Thanks,

David

Was this on the OBD port? Or another bunch of wires? Easy install??
