Also it is important to list if a trade is involved since that can muck up what the real discount is. Just a suggestion so that we compare apples to apples more or less.

For NJ most of the dealers are charging $699 for doc fees.
So $80 is lot less and wish they did that in NJ .
Your point is good and as you said it is almost 1% so if you get 10% and I get 11% it is almost the same thing.

Trade can be tricky.

I would go to few dealers to get the best trade in value and than go to the dealer with highest discount and ask him to match.

In my experience involving trade-in value in price negotiation messes up the numbers so at the end you don't get the maximum discount from the dealer. I've had better luck selling my old cars to places like Carvana directly and buy a car separately from the dealer.

Just wanted to post after getting our G05...

If you're in the PA, NJ, or even DE area consider BMW of Devon in Devon PA. Our Client Adviser, Phil Milewski, was great. We did all of our research here and came up with an aggressive deal that we knew was still realistic for them (numbers posted earlier in this thread) and sent it to Phil via email. He replied saying it looks like a go. This eliminated all haggling. We went to the dealership and met Phil who was as nice and enthusiastic to help as he could be. Frank Muto, New Car Sales Manager, verified the build, put the numbers together exactly per our expectation, and got the new car on order right away (including Performance Center Delivery which was an AMAZING experience). Anyway we couldn't have asked for the process to go much better than it did so:

I live 5 miles from that dealership so naturally I started with them. At the end, their best offer was 3.5% more than other dealers in the area for my factory order.

It's earlier in this thread. Basically 7.33% off of sticker plus applicable incentives/rebates (they were better in January).

I didn't let them make an offer. We put detailed numbers together including our trade and opened with 'this is what we need to make the deal work, we've done our homework and know it's doable'. No haggling. We got what we wanted and they got a deal they could live with.

Glad it worked out for you with your trade I bought 3 bmws so far and they were never able to accept lowest price I had.

Sh*t Bed

Why do BMW's sh* the bed once you hit around 90k? I had 2 X5's and started bleeding oil like crazy and finally unloaded them. For the price of the cars they make why don't they make something of quality. Wtf.

My 2011 X3 started leaking oil thru valve cover gasket ($800) at 70K miles right after warranty and pcv pipe leaking internally ($1700) at 86K miles and now at 92K miles my oil sump gasket is leaking (8 hrs of labor & $1200 because lower subframe must be removed) - really?

I always wonder if BMW seals/gaskets are really that bad when other cars are leak free into 150K miles+ or if its just deliberate engineering to help dealer revenue stream thru planned failure.

I cant wait for my 2019 X5 to be built and arrive in April/May.

Hey guys are there any BMWFS incentives for March? And if so, is it a minimum finance of 7500 bucks for a minimum period of time? (3 months for example)

Money factor

Looks like money factor moved down a little which is a good thing. At same time no additional incentives are added and loyalty is 1250 instead of 1500

Finally this weekend I got my X5. It was on order and the dealer (BMW of Springfield) got it on 1st March (Friday).

I had already talked to CA Brynt about when I will come. Everything from his end was ready. The genius guy walked us through things. Signed the papers and drove out as happy and proud owner of new 2019 BMW X5.

Black Sapphire with Black V. Leather.
Conv. pkg
Parking assist pkg
Front and rear heated seats, heated arm rest and steering wheel
Remote Start
MSRP 66465
Dealer discount 11%
BMW rebates 3500. 1550 loyalty plus 2000 APR (I was told march loyalty has been reduced to 750)

Just got BMW CCA membership and will submit papers today.
I know I got very good discount and I shared my deal earlier so people are aware of what they can get.

Still trying to get used to all the features.
But so far this 3 days of driving very happy. This Sunday we had lot of snow in NJ and this car was driving like it was just rain.

1st Bimmer!

So we just ordered our 1st BMW, X5 40i. Originally I was looking at the X3 but the X5 is so much nicer. This thread really helped me know what kind of discount to request.

Phytonic Blue with Coffee V Leather
Convenience Package
Driving Assistance Plus
Luxury Seating
Premium Package
Executive Package
Parking Assistance
21" Y spoke Grey wheels
Integral Active Steering
2 Axle air suspension
Running boards (I am short)
Heated steering wheel and armrest
Acoustic Glass
Harmon Kardon Stereo

MSRP 77,500
-5840 dealer discount 7.5% off
-2000 APR credit
-1000 USAA credit

I'm in Arizona so I played 3 dealerships off each other. One other dealership just bowed out. Original dealership beat the others' offers.
Car is "scheduled for production"

Can't thank you guys enough for your help!
