Maxton Rear Diffuser Installed

I just added the Maxton Design rear diffuser. It looks good in conjunction with the front splitter. The car has more of a sporty appearance.

That a nice setup! How hard was it to install the front lip and diffuser?

The rear was easy to install. The front on the other hand took a few hours because it’s difficult to find space to attach the fasteners.

So is it the actual entire diffuser or just a lip that attaches below the existing diffuser? Link to the product?

It’s just a lip. Similar in size to the front splitter.

Dang those look good. I wonder what the stripe options look like though.

Do you think the rear diffuser lip would work with the tow package?

I installed the Maxton rear splitter yesterday and it is not necessarily straight forward if you don't have instructions.

Providing some basic steps:
1) Remove the 3 heat shields in the rear
2) Use a Dremel to create 3 openings in the Maxton rear splitter which would allow you to get to the middle heat shields's screws. I think that's a mandatory step.
3) Drill 7-8 holes (7/32 drill bit) in the Maxton rear splitter and rear bumper and use the supplied hardware. Note: One or two longer bolts will be required depending on where you decide to drill the holes.
4) If drilling holes in the middle section of the rear bumper in order to hold the Maxton splitter in place, then cutting a small piece out of middle heat shield will be required.

I did not use 3M double sided tape.

Does it interfere with the towbar? (mine can be retracted).
