19" wheels Runflat vs. nonRunflat
Hi, I have the chance to buy at a good price a winter set of wheels with a Michelin Alpin 5. But they are Runflat Do you think there will be a big difference in the comfort of Runflat vs. nonRunflat on 19" wheels?
The chassis is classic, not air suspension.

on 19" wheels? likely not a significant difference, but every brand/model differs. plus, everyone's tolerance is different

It's a winter/snow tire I wouldn't over think it.

The complete set of wheels costs 2370 USD - new. So I don't have to think about Runflat and take it?

IMO nope, not at all unless you're very sensitive to RFT design characteristics. if they're properly rated for winter weather, then one shouldn't expect handling to be adversely affected just because they may have a 'stiffer' sidewall

don't know if this will concern you, 19" wheels barely clear M Sport brake calipers (if you have them); it's for this reason 20" are the smallest wheel size one can get when ordering an X5 with M Sport. luckily, many here have proven OEM 19" wheels fit fine over M Sport brakes
