The Clippers have devastated the rockets twice this season (they lead the season series 2-0 against Houston), and during their first season meeting at Staples, Lob City scored 78 points against the Rockets in the first half, a team record.

But this current Rockets team seems to have hit a groove and they are hot, especially Harden. So it should be a good game tonight, but the previous 2 games weren't that close, 19 and 13 point blowouts respectively.

The Rockets are a good team, I think their bench is better than the Clippers bench, but their first unit is not as good.

Sorry, Patrick Beverly absolutely sucks. I understand he's a "hustle defense" guy, but he doesn't have any court vision, he doesn't create opportunities for his team, and he doesn't score for shit. Also good job from Matt Barnes, he shut down Chandler. Chandler couldn't get off, and Barnes pretty much hounded him anytime he tried to spot up.

Harden had a horrible game, got stripped 6 times. But it's easy to predict where the offense will flow through when you have a guy who plays iso-ball just like Carmelo. Also for all of his offensive skill, the guy just doesn't play defense. There's absolutely no reason why Collison should be wide open for a 3-pointer on the wing when a game is that close. WTF was Harden doing 15 feet away? That's not a missed rotation, that's lazy.

Regardless, it was a good game for 3 quarters until the Clippers broke it open in the 4th. Closest game of the series so far (8 points). LA is 3-0 against the Houston Harden's now.

yup they went down quick, and portland came back up to the 3rd seed from 6th that they had fallen to, the west division is just too good.

in the meantime miami and okc tied for the overall # 2 seed if miami wins tonight they take that spot and okc moves to 3rd place and the hunt for indy keeps on

I can guarantee you that the seeding we see right now will be 100% DIFFERENT come playoff time.....

nobody knows who they're gonna play - the first 6 seeds will be separated by less than 7 games....

agreed, rockets turnovers/bad passes is what killed them imo. regardless it was a fun game to watch and very exciting till the last few minutes
