Anyone else collect diecast cars?
I save the big $ for my real cars, but I do collect diecast muscle cars, classics, sports cars & exotics. Mostly diecasts of real cars with the exception of my Super Mario cars & Fast & Furious cars.
FYI, selling/trading the cars in the attached photos if you know anyone |

I used to but made the mistake of letting my 3 yr old son (at the Time) play with them. Only car I kept off limits was a limited edition ‘87 GNX

I don’t “collect” like i think you guys do, but i do go to extremes to get a die cast model of each one of my real cars, so that they all have their own mini-me.

I have a few 1:18 Australian Touring cars from the late 70’s and 80’s.
All were raced by Allan Moffat and all are signed by him. |

Interested in 4-5 totes of damn near every single Hot Wheels corvette ever released? My dad had a thing for Corvettes and started collecting the Hot Wheels Corvettes. I think my sister still has them in storage. If interested PM me. We are talking A LOT of freaking Hot Wheels here...all corvettes.

I have a TON of minichamps Valentino Rossi motoGP stuff. I never took anything out after I moved last, but I used to have a nice display. I should set that up again.

You guys need to check out my thread...
Toy models of our cars... 1:43, 1:87 and 1:18... https://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=507986 Some of us are really obsessed with model car collecting. I know Diamondblackcars & bmw1racer can attest to that! We all need a twelve step program for our obsession. Dackel

Here’s the diecast edition of my current fleet. The only differences are that my real GT3 is not an RS and the Macan isn’t white, it’s PTS ultraviolet. Our previous Macan Turbo was white, though.
It’s impossible getting exactly your car every time! If anyone knows where i can get a 1:18 Mini Cooper R56 JCW GP in Thunder Gray i’d appreciate any leads. That’s the one model i’m missing |

I don't collect 1:18th scale models as a rule so that is why I don't know the answer straight away as I prefer to collect 1:43rd scale models. R/C EP Touring Car MINI Cooper S with JCW GP Metallic Gray 32706GR https://rc.kyosho.com/en/32706gr.html There is also a 1:14 scale RC model #96868 Carisma M14 Mini Cooper JCW GP I had a funny feeling before I started looking that this was as close as you get to a JCW GP K08743S Kyosho 1:18 scale MINI Cooper S John Cooper Works Silver Model number K08743S EAN 4548565113996 https://dc.kyosho.com/en/product/k08743s.html Last edited by Diamondblackcars; 08-29-2019 at 01:54 AM.. |
