Thank you VetteZ06 for starting this thread. After looking into it I purchased a pair of X5M side vents from an eBay vendor for $103; Item No. 385036797556. They were nice quality and had all the right clips for installation. It did come with an X5M tag on it but it is very dark. They could easily be peeled off. Having a white X5 with the extended shadow line package this was (IMHO) a nice addition.

This does look good. Could you share the link to the ebay post and/or seller? And where did you get the //M sticker?

Type in 385036797556 in eBay search. And, even though the sticker isn't shown in the listing it comes with the vents.

Very cool, thanks for this! How's the build quality of the vent?

Very good. I would say it is as good as the OE vent cover.

Awesome! I plan to order. How long did it take you to receive? It mentions that it's coming from China?

For me, it was 14 days from order day to delivery in California. They supplied a tracking number that was very accurate.

Tnx Chuck W - bought the last one (for now, I'm sure) available from the seller.

Did you end up using the double sided tape? Would the clips be sufficient to hold the vents in place?

Has anyone bought either of these mudflaps?

I'm curious if the one in the bottom link fits M sport because the description states that it doesn't.

since my original post almost a year ago, it appears they changed the description of the product in that second URL. the link is the same but the product is different

Cool.

The clips worked great. I did use the double sided tape that came with the X5M vent. I think it adds some added security in the mounting.

Lesson learned, I bought mine from Aliexpress and the tape they used to put their pieces together were such low quality (3 pieces) that they were coming apart while trying to position it in the opening. In the process I broke the tabs so be careful and inspect the tape adhesion. The leading edge tabs broke off without much force being applied.

What would you said if I roaster your real M with my non-m 335i then? Cuz that can happen.

Looks really good I tried searching for this vendor number you shared but doesn’t exist. Would you be able to share the link?
