Absolutely, if the extra month wait is acceptable to you. At the least I’d cancel the current order and find a different dealer. I got 8% off on a late Dec order and others on here have reported similar or better.

I never looked into it but today found out they removed the rear door comfort access from the X7 also. That is poor.

Part of the reason I plan on keeping my 24 order. The suspicion they will only remove more things from the 25.

Removing the comfort access on the rear doors to save a few pennies was idiotic on a 100K+ vehicle. Cars under 50K are starting to have it while BMW is going backwards. Its one of those features that you take for granted until you don't have it.

It's off nearly all of them that have been introduce or undergone an LCI for MY24 or later (5 Series, 7 Series, X1)

Interesting they removed it from the top model. I wondering if maybe they didn't do it out of cost cutting but perhaps some design/misunderstanding of how it is used.

Mine is being built Feb (order loced at Dealer mid Jan apparently) with I think a May delivery timeframe. So that means it will be a MY25 plated?

No, it goes by the build date, not when the vehicle gets a plate on it.

I have a X6 MC on order for a week 6 build, scheduled for production on 2/8. This situation is frustrating, as I would have waited for the '25s if I'd known they'd be released so closely. Hopefully, the build sheets will start to appear before I take delivery. At this point, I'm planning to play hardball with my dealer. If they're not willing to give me a decent discount, then I'll switch to a MY25. I'm not interested in paying MSRP for a model that will be a year old just a month later.

Same boat. Same build date. The only difference is I've negotiated a discount off MSRP already, but I'm getting an X5 m40, so I don't know what deals are like on the MC. It's just unfortunate timing. I've already denied delivery on one car from this dealer.

Best guesses would be discounts in mid April and build sheets the third week of February.

Discounts of course depend on the region and dealer. In the past we have had dealers not offer any additional discounts on prior year models for months after the new year started. Some offer it before it starts.
