See picture.
All the sudden noticed there’s a small crack from the inside on the center console. Not sure how it happened - maybe dropped something but no idea at all and it’s bothering me. Can’t feel it any crack from the outside. Anything I can do? Thoughts? Still under warranty but don’t know if that helps..

Warranty won't cover that.

The whole panel there is a single unit, but you could probably find a decent condition used panel on ebay and replace it yourself (or pay an independant mechanic if you're not into DIY) for under $500. I've seen panels from $300 but if you want great condition may be worth paying a bit more.

Worst part is I think the bmw dealership did this a few days ago when I took my car to service but there’s no way I can prove this.

My dealer scraped my steering wheel pretty badly during a sunroof leak repair. They replaced it without hesitation. You should just tell them it was damaged during service and see what they say.

If they deny it, I would use another dealer in the future if possible.

I would think you’d know if you cracked the center console yourself. I’ve had several SA’s not own up to damage they caused while doing repairs. It’s annoying. If you really think your SA cracked your center console I’d call them.

I did, and had a lengthy call with the manager. They said since they didn’t work near the console it can’t be them but all they had to do is drop the keys, phone or whatever they were holding at a specific angle to damage it. No give at all from them. Shitty situation unfortunately. My word against theirs

In that case, there's not much you can do but bring your business elsewhere. There's probably several BMW dealerships in the 416 area right?

It definitely sucks that you have to pay out of pocket for something the dealership did
