I work in the Pipeline Industry and boy let me tell you. this morning I had guys in here for an ongoing project and they complained about everything we make good money and to hear these guys cry about everything makes me want to punch them in the junk

So I'm having a little surgical procedure on Friday, basically just a section of my face that my wife doesn't like taken off (surprisingly, after 9 years of marriage, it is not the whole face), just a smaller spot near my ear that she's a little concerned about because it could be a type of skin cancer.

So we'll see. I am getting one of her colleagues to do the work because that person is a plastic surgeon, and I know she's good.

But the thing that I'm struggling with is that I keep trying to play this off as a "major surgical procedure" to elicit sympathy from my dear wife and I'm getting shot down because she knows the score and she does this stuff too.

So what I want to know is this: Trying to convert my very minor procedure into a major one to elicit sympathy is definitely not working for me - so how do I convert my wife into my very own personal nurse nightingale?

Do something for/with her that you know she really enjoys & would appreciate. If that fails, just whip it out & swing it around helicopter style while making the Airwolf noise.

I'm going to have to google the "Airwolf" noise, you lost me there. But this option is otherwise quite appealing.

I'm not quite certain how this will turn her into my own personal nurse nightingale, but I generally take any and all excuses to whip it out, so I'm still on board regardless.

You want her to take care of you? Or TAKE CARE OF YOU?

Either way, since you mentioned wife, probably nothing we at bimmerpost can do for you short of buying a weekend of hookers/blow.

WTF?! did you guys here about the 3 kids that were killed at a school bus stop in Indiana? all 3 were siblings 2 of which were twin boys and the girl was the eldest. I couldn't imagine losing my 3 boys to something like this! i'd freakin' go crazy! still no story on the driver?

It's amazing! Amazing that even with 15 cars in the Chic Fila drive thru they can get me in and through in about 5 min or so. And that's with the most courteous customer service ever and the food is freakin fresh and they call you by name! Just unbelievable! It takes 15 min in a McDonald's drive thru and that's with just me by myself and they still manage to ef that up!

Today wifey and me have our 11th anniversary day and she'd surprised me with a large magnified picture of our renewal of vow to the 5th wedding day this year in Vegas. This is one of the best pics ever taken from us and I am very happy. Apologies not to share this pic with you but some things should be staying private.
