Dynamic level -10mm, automatic lowering 87-124mph

Sport level - 20mm, automatic lowering without toggle actuation 124mph to maximum speed
Activation via Sport button or Sport level via air suspension toggle, 0mph to maximum speed

I concur with this. My 2020 40i has AS (and also AIS) and lowers immediately in any of the 3 sport modes. Handling in this setting is good, but I am anxious to get the 2022 m50 with DHP to see how this compares on the winding turns at 65+.

I have owned nothing but air suspension BMW, Land Rovers, and Volvos since 2010. I've had zero issues and love the ability to adjust the ride height. Raising the BMW is nothing special as the speed limitation is extremely low and it's not an off-road vehicle (though I wish my 2019 off-road 40i never set fire and was still around), but it will get you over deeper snow and delicate terrain - was left stranded after losing all my coolant this past spring scraping over something in tallish grass on a jeep road.

Disappointing reading the m50 ride height is the same as the 40i in standard mode. I will agree I like the look of the lower stance. It's also easier getting in and out, especially with the m sport trim. Either that or I'm just used to Land Rovers that have always lowered automatically when you park if you set them up that way.

Driving in Adaptive or Comfort, I always toggle down one level taking advantage of the AS. I guess I'll miss that. But I probably won't miss it much if I gain much more in handling on the winding roads I drive every day. Our roads are generally smooth and I'm sticking with 20's, so that should make up for something.

Dude this is straight from the BMW website. Not worth spilling hairs with you.

Just give it up, not only are you misinterpreting what it says but that is the Adaptive M Suspension Professional which is not the suspension we are talking about.

There's no automatic lowering with Adaptive M or Adaptive M Pro suspension options on the X5 which are based on steel spring/strut suspensions.

Feel free to download the G05 Powertrain & Suspension Technical training doc. There is no where in any of the BMW vehicle training I've received that supports the BMW marketing copy on BYO or your insistence that it does.

You are the one making an issue over it, not me. I'm perfectly fine with being corrected but seem you are more about being right and showing how much you think you know. It doesn't change why I got DHP and you did nothing but take over the conversation why it wasn't really about that statement.

But I completely understand people like you who enjoy proving people right to make yourself look good.

Next time try an offer support instead of trying to prove people wrong. That picture was taking straight from what's including in DHP.

Appreciate your input but again it was not meant to get in big discussion about my decision to go with DHP.

LOL, hope your rant makes you feel better. Had nothing to do with me being right but rather you being wrong. People come to the forum to get information and having bad information out there is not useful and misleads people.
