Discount off MSRP 2022 X5
Hi! I've just requested a build on a 2022 BMW X5 xdrive40i. My dealership does not have an allocation for me yet but I paid $500 deposit. I've been reading posts about discounts off MSRP and I feel like I didn't negotiate well. Can anyone tell me about any recent discounts off MSRP on the 2022 X5? My salesperson is saying people are paying over MSRP. I think I get BMW loyalty credit $750 and I also signed up for the Fall into Savings credit of $1,000. I haven't mentioned either to my salesperson yet.
Thanks for your help! |

Got 7.5% off MSRP back in July for a 1 Sep delivery. My military discount was additional off. No haggling -they said up front (email) 7.5% off...I ordered, and a Jr guy called a week later, embarrassed they forgot to ask for the $500 reserve, which I paid. Car showed up 2-3 weeks (Sep 1) before I thought I'd get it.

Me personally, I've negotiated 5% off my Custom order 2022 X6. BMW Loyalty Credit, $1000 BMW autumn event, and $3250 with my own credit union financing which I'm going to pay off. Also the $1000 Car club rebate. Also, I didn't put down a deposit but that may vary dealer to dealer. I would find another local BMW and check and see if they have any allocations available and go from there. Your dealership may not have a allocation for you for a while and depending on how soon you want/need the car. |

Discounts vary by region, dealer and timing. In general, discounts are way down and more people than not are paying around MSRP. There are dealers asking over MSRP in some areas but I don't think we have had any people on the forum pay that.
Definitely make sure you mention the incentives you expect to your dealer. Some, like the Fall into Savings, may not be available for ordered vehicles only currently inventory (I have not looked into the details on that incentive). This way there will be no surprises when your vehicle arrives.

I'm at around 4% off after penfed and my negotiates discount. Not fantastic but not terrible. Also getting what I think is fair on my trade. 24300 on a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee high altitude.

Thanks for the feedback. She is still saying that there are dealerships asking over msrp (in Texas). I'm in Alabama and the dealership I'm talking with is in Mississippi. I did try going through PenFed for the True Car shopping price and it looks like a dealership in Kenner, LA is giving about 2% off MSRP. That's the best I can get locally.

What does that have to do with the price of tea in China? Find a new salesperson. I remember there used to be a well-regarded CA at an ATL dealer. |

For example, you get either $3,200 or $750 + $500. Current BMW owners may receive loyalty offer. Offer may require BMW Financial Services financing/lease. Trade-in not required. Cannot be combined with conquest offers and USAA incentives. Proof of BMW ownership required Here's a dealer that showed up in a google search (not familiar w/them)... https://www.bramanbmw.com/incentives/md41/ |

Some dealers have their own "loyalty" program but it is just a dealer discount not a BMWFS incentive.
