Thank you for creating this topic. I am at status 112 spoke to BMW genius so far no deletion. They told me production for week 29 should begin towards end of June.

Week 29 is July 18th through July 24th. Generally vehicles go into the Production Begins status about two weeks before actual production. At that time a VIN will be assigned and parts ordered/allocated.

A week is typically considered Monday - Sunday.

I typed the dates from the wrong year on my post. Week 29 is July18th thru July24th, Monday thru Sunday as mentioned above.

Last I heard from my CA when I went to 111 at the beginning of the month, I am week 29.

Went to 112 on the 13th, and still there now. Hoping all stays in the build!

I am wk 28 and went to 112 on the 10th, so approximately 3 days ahead.. as of yesterday I’m still stuck at 112.

Good to know. I forgot to mention, we are a 45e build. Not sure if that makes a difference or not in build weeks? Or if they just roll them along the line and place the power plants as they differ on the line?

Good point, not really sure.. turns out mine is also a 45e so worth keeping a close eye as we may end up on the same line! Last I spoke to Genius, they advised that my build could potentially move forward.. theoretically, we could all be in the same position!

Yes, worth keeping an eye on! Hoping mine arrives as close to or soon after July 18th. For medical reasons, I have not been able to drive since January 18th. I will be able to on July 18th😄

We sold our X7 M50i (we have been rolling around with my wife in the pilot seat of our Jeep Rubicon) since we wanted something a little smaller (went from an X5 to the X7) and nicer on the fuel bill.... The 45e fits that bill!

We are in Virginia, so I know it is just loaded on a truck in SC, and brought up this way.

Fingers crossed you get it on the 18th! Incidentally my order is actually being built on my birthday week… we may end up sharing the same birthday! Currently have an F16 X6 for the last 4 years.. not everyone’s cup of tea but I love it. The 45e will be a company vehicle and so ticks a lot of boxes from a tax perspective etc. Unfortunately, my delivery timescale will be nowhere as quick as yours as mine will be making a trip across the pond to the UK! Looking more like a late August / Sept arrival.

I have visited Charleston, SC many times over the years. All the X's going overseas are put on a train in Spartanburg and sent there. You can see rows and rows of X's in the port ready to load on a ship... That will be the final spot of yours on this side of the pond.

Heres hoping for a fast ship 😄

Thank you VAJeff. Hoping things move along smoothly for all of us! Incidentally, I checked with Genius a few hours ago and no movement yet… it will probably be this time next week which will be approx 2 weeks prior to production week being currently quoted

I just checked a little bit ago, mine went into 150 status and I have a VIN now. From what I see, all my options are still on it. I would think yours should be any time now, if not already at this point. Mine went to 150 a little after lunch time.

Doing the F12 trick I have read about, looks like production date of July 16.

Mine hit 150. Very similar build and I don't see anything missing. ProdDate July 1. I guess that makes mine a different build week? I don't see anything missing. Hoping I get the Ivory seatbelts and not black.

Correct, Week 28 is the 11th through the 17th.

Great news on hitting 150. Looks like my hunch with yours moving forward was right! Unfortunately I have no way of checking until tomorrow morning when genius love chat is back online. Hoping I can also report back a 150 status!
