Are you guys sure it's the wireless that's the problem and not the 740Ms? Did you all order 740Ms?

I was thinking Wireless charging was the reason for delays but then I found some users who went to 150 and had Wireless charging. So the delay might be due to the 20" wheels that some users have reported

Kief Here's a post I made in the week 43 thread.

I received a phone call from my sales associate this morning in regards to my updated 105 status from yesterday and was informed that the 20" all season wheels are having supply issues. He mentioned that there are currently 221 M Sport builds in P1 status (customer sold units) that are being affected by this shortage and there was is no estimated time for this to be resolved. All P3 status vehicles are being changed to a different tire/wheel so they won't be effecting the P1 builds.

Did your SA happen to know of other supply issues other than the wheels? I've been wondering why my build is stuck at 112 since beginning of September and I have 741M wheels.

My sales guy seems like a rookie as he thinks x5's are built and coming from Germany. Haha.

For my build, my SA said everything else was good (no supply issues).

Do you have a 45e on order or 40i or M50i? Or did your CA know if it was specific to certain trims?

I guess I better play it safe and stick with the 741Ms

I was W41, then W43. Now my guess is W44.
My build is stuck at 112 since 9/9.

I have a 45e on order. I was originally scheduled for week 40 and have had various changes since I was given a production number on 8/26. My CA said it was specific to M sport trim levels, but my assumption would be that all builds that have the 740 M wheels with the all season tires are having supply issues.

It's still possible. Several people have had their X5 show up at the dealership within a couple days of coming off the assembly line. You can expect to take delivery very quickly after it's built.

If it gets built the 3rd week of November, you should have it around the end of November. Allowing for a slight delay if Thanksgiving gets in the way, you should still have it around the beginning of December.

Welcome to the forum. Shipping to TN should take a day or two so if there are no delays you may have it in time for Thanksgiving.

Back to Wk46, as of this morning...initially Wk45, then Wk48 yesterday, and today Wk46...quite the rollercoaster. Wish it would stabilize, as I'm deciding when to install my home charger

So what changed in your build? You originally had 741 wheels then switched to 740 to push your prod week up?

It's strange....My original 10/10 build (Wk45) had the 741 wheels, but then I was watching a set of 22" 747Ms for sale around me, and I was getting close to buying them as my summer set. I was then going to change my build to 740Ms for use during winter, only to find out here that the 740M might be what is pushing everyone back.

Long story short, on Monday, I asked my dealer to check and see if changing to 740M would push out my build, but it actually moved it up to Wk46, bc apparently over the weekend, my Wk45 was pushed out to Wk48 without making any changes. So the 740 change moved it to Wk46. My deal with the 747M fell through, so I asked the dealer to change the 740M back to 741M (only to find out now the upcharge has returned). Call NA this morning regarding the upcharge and asked for my current build week which is now Wk46, even with the 741M
