It sounded like TB-M5 was going to try this a couple of months ago but I haven't seen any follow-up.

Tried and failed on a self-install - I'm leaning towards it having been DOA/lemon hardware (couldn't get a stable device connection), but after having to pay for return shipping costs back to Europe once, I didn't quite have the inclination to try the same thing again. Sorry to not be of more help.
