naw, it's called credit history. When I got out of college at 23, I bought a new Acura TL. They wanted me to get a co-signer, they didn't believe a "kid" could swing a $32,000 car. I got my Maxima $18k loan when I was 20. Had to have a cosigner, no biggie it helped drop the interest like 5 points!

Ive opened up two credit cards since...That I've charged and paid off...When should I try again?.....I've been 2 weeks late ONE time on my car and I've had it over a year...But they made an extra $20 off me for the late fee...Isnt it good not to pay it all so they can built up more interest on ya?

SHIT... WITH a co signer on my Accord..my interest is 10.69%...On the bimmer it would have been 4% but mom said she wouldnt at the time..

lol tell me about it, ive been working full time since i was 17 for the same company i work for now and while i was going to college, but damn i got a g35 as my first car and bc i was so young(and my parents didnt want to co sign for me) i got the worst intrest rate out there and i was actually surprised i even got the car, all it took was 17k down on a 40k plus car with like a 12% intrest rate..lol talking about paying to build up your credit..

this wasnt my first car but my 350 i financed on my own @ 1% over 60 mos I think I was 21 when i got it...
