I'm looking into the same thing for my 2024 X5.

IND and Autotecknic have some options if you're OK with non-OEM.

I bought the Autotechnic covers but in carbon fiber for my 2021 X5 and they just did not fit well. While they did snap on, they did not catch on to all the different attachment points and all it took was a little pull from the outside and they both came off. The passenger side looked like it would come off by itself if going at highway speeds and I had to try to snap it back into place every day. They authorized a return and I ended up getting OEM ones instead. Not sure if the painted covers are made any different but that's my experience with aftermarket covers.

I’m looking for some of the X5M mirror caps for my 2022 M50i. Was this the AUTOTECKNIC $265 version (SKU: ATK-BM-0113-CF) that failed for you?

No, the ones I bought were the ATK-BM-0257. They were the regular style covers but in carbon fiber. The finish on them looked great and they were much cheaper than the OEM ones but they refused to stay put. The savings wasn’t worth it to me since I knew they end up flying off due to how unsecure they were. The OEM ones fit perfectly and saved a little by going through the BMW dealer in Florida, BRAMAN BMW.

I think very good. Stiff and not flimsy at all. All snaps lined up perfectly and no gaps after install

Very nice. Not bad for a non-OEM piece and at a decent price to boot. I'm always wary of non-OEM pieces hence the reason I asked about the fit and finish.

I was apprehensive but returning to Amazon is easy so I figured why not. I kept the old covers if I need to replace them back in future. Worth the 50 bucks IMO

Is someone able to confirm that the same aftermarket covers fit both the LCI and the pre-LCI models? Looking to order from Aliexpress, but their listing descriptions aren't the best.
