Black lettering for X5 50e

Hi

Soon to be a X5 50e owner and putting the performance parts on the car. I asked my dealer about black lettering at the back for the ‘X5’ and ‘50e’ and he said it was only available for the M60i.

Can anyone confirm or had any knowledge and has anyone put black lettering g on?

From factory the 50e badges come in chrome, but you can easily get the gloss black (or matte black) ones off IND:

I purchased from IND and love the look on my X. I will post pictures later when my alarm is off.

The only one I did not change is the XDrive label, since the paint was too thick and it looked like it was painted with a spray can bottle.

Really like these but don't think it would look so good on carbon black paint.

What is the install pry kit on the ind website? Is that to remove the chrome badges?

Also is it Matt or gloss to match the msport pro kit?

I couldn’t justify spending INDs price so bought some 45e badges off Amazon for about 25 bucks. I was seriously impressed and have had them on since last summer with no issues. But if you feel better spending over 200 bucks for badges knock yourself out.

I went 1/2 way between Amazon and IND with JBSpeed ... the rear black is already showing chrome through at 6 months.

So ... go Amazon or go IND ;-)
