There is so much more to DDing a SUv other than space and utility. I am alone in the car 99% of the time and I still love having a SUV more than I thought I would.

Awesome! I was really set on going the 5 series route next but I'm honestly thinking x5M might be better lol. I would have to drive one and see how I like it

No mod. The oem air suspension g05 is adjustable. Load mode -> sport mode -> normal -> higher -> highest
Damn that's pretty awesome then.....

+1. I used to commute from NY to MA every week in my first X5 years ago, before kids, in fact I was single when I got the car. Loved it. Paid for a lot of extra miles in the end.., but loved it. Better visibility and presence on the highway, yet drove like a sport sedan.

It looks fantastic. What is the offset and width for the wheels?

That is one of the best looking G05s I have ever seen, sick.
Can you yet elaborate a bit more on the lowering links? I have a G05 on order and am also interested...
- How do they work? do they physically force the suspension lower, or fool the suspension to start in sport mode?
- In the first case, do you know if there is any possible adverse effect, like the car constantly trying to raise the air suspension and thus creating additional pressure in the air suspension system?
- Are they easy to install DIY?

Actually found the answer to all my questions in your other thread, thanks
Only remaining question: When you lower the car to load height, is there any risk of damaging something if the front wheels are turned at that point? I see on one of your pics the wheels tuck into the arches when lowering to load height.

Not it will not damage. Even at loading height with the lowering links car sits 3mm above the tire

Mine are 22x10et21 and 22x11 et18. Much more agressive than those above. Meant for lowered m sport

I'm keen to understand the long term effects of the BBS Lowering Links, if any.

My understanding is that it fools the air system into believing it's at a higher height, therefore lowering the car.

It's such a simple mod that delivery really drastic results. Definitely considering this when mine arrives.

Your car looks great Dub.

I just got my X5 M50i and I love everything except the 4x4 look. I have the dynamic handling package and no air ride, so I canít lower like yours
