I super agree with that. Former colleague of mine who is a car enthusiast and a bit of a design freak (& does not own a BMW) told me that BMW M cars have that PERFECT distance between the exhaust and placed more in the middle. It is very unique, very BMW like. Of course M cars will continue to look great but the exhaust looked WAY better for me on the older models.

It is highly unlikely I will buy a X5M. I had a chance to do it three years ago and in the end (to-date) spent exactlt the same on mods and extras on the regular X5 (excluding fuel costs which are for sure more with the M).

On another topic (actually the real thread) these seats in a similar form could make it to the Msport X5 as is the case with X3 Msport which (if I am not wrong) can get X3M shape seats as an option soon?
Did you drive X5/6M?
They are just incredible and imagine you tune them

The black grills make the car look WAY better. It makes the grills less stand out and it flows better with the car. It's like a fat chick wearing black leggings...it gives them a chance.

Chiming in with some configurator pics. From the Swedish BMW X6 site. Scroll down and play around with "M sportpaket" to see more color combinations. Does this qualify as a "leak" or just sloppy website engineering?

Well... I know a lot of people can't adopt new changes, and this happens every 6 years. Not sure what's there more to appreciate for the old models than the new models besides the exterior (which is subjective).

Every new generation that comes out is so much better then the outgoing one, by a big margin.

There is just a personal preference on look, on performance is no question.

I agree with that but was hoping they keep more of the current x6M interior features, like the gear shifter which is perfect! I also can't say I love the digital front display as it looks tacky. I am sure it's more functional but looks cheap.

I super agree with that. Former colleague of mine who is a car enthusiast and a bit of a design freak (& does not own a BMW) told me that BMW M cars have that PERFECT distance between the exhaust and placed more in the middle.

If I could afford one, I would be the luckiest guy.

I think the X5M is just perfect family/winter vehicle!!!

Long live the F85...I'll stay right where I am. Not impressed, sorry fellas. I'm not doubling my payment for seats. The appearance does nothing for me. For those who have the disposable. Enjoy!!
