Democrats blame Trump. If I were Trump I would not touch it with a 20 ft pole.

If you want a blueprint on where we are headed under socialism..look at Cali

He came to Texas.
He's claiming California will shrink in population because they're moving to Texas.
Probably 70% will come and vote for the Beto gang because "we're proud democrats."

Great, just freaking great.

California is the number one reason I don't vote Democrats, the North East has plenty of reasonable democrats but i just remind myself 1/5 of the Democrats in the house are from California and that will give them overwhelming power to override rational policy for crazy left coast policy.

California is a mix of Limousine Liberals and NIMBY voters. Everyone has an idea, no one has a plan.
Everything is good in theory but when implemented the result is California.
I am surprised it has not turned into three or four different states.

Democrats in California are more crazy then the usual democrat. Republicans in California are also crazier then the usual republican. Anyone who tells me they are republican or democrat here I usually try to change subject fast or you will be forced to listen to some really crazy ideas. For democrats they want to get visibly angry at things democrat party tells them is bad. They don't even know why it's bad but they get really really mad about it and will not listen to anything anyone says. For republicans they basicly want to kill anything that isn't white or doesn't have money. When I say kill it is to literally kill

We basically get the whole country’s navel gazing dreamers, which is why Hollywood and Silicon Valley are so successful, but it means they also have no damn common sense and vote that way

Damn. That was a most awesomest comment. Really i would like x10 if possible.
But you probably read your own idea into my post. I never said most ppl in California are like that. Most are very good ppl like I think most areas. Just if someone here is political they are usually totally insane. Just run away. Last week one guy next to me in a Korean resataurant kept saying racists things about Koreans and muslims. Loud enough so me and othe tables next to him could hear. After each racist thing he would say "but I bet that I'm not allowed to say that because it's against the pc policy of this restaurant".

No you idiot it's not against pc policy it's against normal human being policy.

That's the crazy we have on both sides but republican ones scare me more because they always talk in terms of violence. Who should be killed, who is next in like for war, etc. liberals are more concerned with kale and avocado doesn't scare as much but they will follow orders from shady shady leaders so that's also very bad and can be scary too

Maybee you can retract your like now lol

Not going to dismiss your statement but one person talking violence and another party actually doing it are completely different things and plenty of footage of violence from radical in the left when Trump was elected while we lack similar incidents conducted by the right when Obama won.

Ps talking racism is subjective btw unless they are clearly saying My race is superior to this subhuman group of people.

Pss normal human policy is also subjective as different cultures have different views and acceptances. Perfect example of this is arabic countries harsh pubishments towards gays or african cultures towards marriage age and body mutilation

I like the term Champaign Socialist. We have it here in spades, especially in Toronto, Ottawa and Vancouver. Homeless shelters, safe injections sights and sanctuary cities. I just can't get my head around all the airy fairy ideas of the left and how they continually make things worse for everyone, especially the folks who actually need help. And if you suggest a different approach you fall victim to the cancel culture. I moved out of Toronto as I got closer to retirement, I have to wonder how long this social science experiment will continue before the progressives figure out that repeating the same behaviour and expecting a different outcome isn't working. God help us all.

Yes your right every group has a different culture. That guy was part of the crazy troll culture that is part of being a republican now. Almost all the crazy republicans here are trying to be trolls here like the thread starter.

Same with that guy in the restaurant. What normal person goes into a restaurant of a certain country just to say racist stuff against the people serving you? A troll (or someone with mental disability)

But since you think that is normal and ok well I guess we know what that makes you

People obviously don't want to live in places like Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. Since Trump took over, the quality of life ratings for Pennsylvania have sunk to new lows of 41 out of 50 states-quality ratings in the lowest 20 percentile.

Probably right bc of Democratically controlled shithole sanctuary city of Phila. You might want (if you are interested-which you are not) to look at the satisfaction rate in Lancaster co. , PA.

I wonder why 90% of cities that are shitholes are run by Dems? Could you answer that for me?

Still not sure why a US News report on a random state has anything to do with who is the President of the United States, but hey - you do you.

It'll end with a couple hundred government agencies passing around a single tattered $1 bill.

It just so happens the OP penned a critique of California and he lives in Pennsylvania. California rated #19 out of 50 in the same study. People in glass houses...etc.
Trump narrowly won Pennsylvania in 2016, doubtful he will do so again, in my opinion, especially with the quality of life declining in Pennsylvania, per this study.

So I live in Ontario but can criticize Quebec or Cali for that matter. FTR I went to school in California (a very long time ago) and i love the place, but from what I see happening now California has some real problems (LA and San Fran) probably more so. Hey but if there's no homeless problem feel free to set us all straight.

It was announced recently that Los Angeles County's GDP was equal to that of Saudi Arabia's. Sure, there are problems but there is underlying good to great economic indicators.
