G05 Wheels on X5M?

Will wheels from a X5 G05 fit the new X5M?

Is the "new X5M" on the G-platform? If so, then very likely yes will fit and just needs overall diameter verification. If not, then no, will not fit.

G-platform changed all hub and wheel specs completely from previous bimmers. Lug bolt pattern, offsets, etc.

Yeah but for whatever reason, on the previous gen BMW put a different size hub on the M models vs the others so you couldn't just swap. It'll be interesting to see if they do something like this again.

You may need spacers for them to fit properly

Just because they mount does not mean they "fit"

Is there an update to this question? Makes no sense they don’t fit. I know offset is different but many offsets work on cars.
20 inch rims should clear the front brake. Why no winter fitments in 20?

It will fit, just width and offset will be different.

F95 wheels will fit the G05 no problem

G05 wheels may or may not fit the F95 (depending on wheel style) because the M has bigger brakes.

Will they stick out a lot compared to standard X5 wheels ? Meaning - will the look stupid without some kind of wheel arch modding ?

I know the X5M fender flares are a tiny bit wider but its minuscule. Also the stock X5M wheels are pretty conservative with folks running big spacers so I am thinking it would be ok on a regular G05 without spacers.

Definitely right. iconoclast did this and it looks incredible: https://g05.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...4#post27896804. Best looking M50i I've seen.

So it's 100% fit of the X5M 809/818 wheels on the X5 - without any modifications? - I'm about to spend good few thousands on the set, wouldn't want to get it wrong

Suggest you reach out to iconoclast. I’m sure others have done it but he’s the only one I remember. Good luck and let us know!

I reached out to iconoclast but so far didn't hear back.

However I was talking to parts guy over at BMW garage and was told that if there was a problem with the driving of the car that could be related to the F95 wheels on the G05 I might not be covered by the warranty.
