First BMW X5 with blue shutters in kidney grille

Here comes my first modification of my BMW X5 45e. I added blue shutters to my kidney grille to highlight the fact that it's a plugin hybrid.

Have you guys seen similar "blue style" shutters on X5? A really good BMW shop did the work for me and I requested the same color for the shutters as used in the laser lights. What do you guys think?

Here's the pictures. You can also follow me on Instagram for more pictures of my X5 45e: https://www.instagram.com/unexpected_upgrade/

Looks good! I think if you tried to color match the car you wouldnt notice it. I like it better with than without.

I dig it. Good job and way to think outside the box. That looks oem for a E model.

It's not painted actually. It's just a foil/film stuck to the flaps. It can be easily removed or reapplied anytime in the future.

Where might I be able to buy this foil? I really like the way it looks and would love to experiment a bit

Just thought I'd share a new picture of these blue flaps. I'll try to get the color ID for you. It's the same blue color used for the laserlight lens..

Wow, it looks stunning. Please keep us updated about the color ID and more photos! I would definitely do this on my upcoming 45e.
