here are some other pics with the reflectors painted it. gotta do something with the exhaust tips, also waiting to see what exhaust system comes out to the market, so far I'm happy with the change.

question

How did you paint the trim pieces. Did you remove them and have someone paint them. And where did you get the paint. It really does look great.

Wow it looks so much sportier. Those wheels are amazing. I bought mine with the 20" and I regret it so much. Does any know where can I get used 21" for a good price and international shipping ?

Hello, yes a body took them off and prepare them and then they painted it, is actually kinda hard to take a picture of this color, is very dark haha.

well it looks great. Did you ever figure out what to do with the exhaust. I kind of ran into the same issue. Blacked out the bumper but the exhaust stick out a little because its still silver. Seems like a lot of work to get it off to wrap. Thinking of other ways of blacken it out or darkening it. Wondering if you had any luck

yeah I'm still trying to figure it out what to do because I want to see if any aftermarket exhaust company come up with some quad tips for the x5, remus exhaust I think they were developing a system but don't know if will include any tips, but to be honest I forgot the tips when I did the job hahaha,

I had someone wrap it for me and they said that they couldn't do the exhaust properly without removing. And I see the removing process is tedious

When you wrapped the roof rack, did you just do the outer portion and leave the inside part alone. And did the rack come out ok(ie bubbles or imperfections etc)

the rack came out ok I actually not in the US now I'm stuck in Spain so I can't remember much about the rack haha, but it came ok no bubbles. since my car is dark is kinda hard to find errors on the wrap.

I live in Miami and I have asked several shops if they can paint the plastic parts and they have told me they can't due to the texture of the parts. Can you please let me know who painted them for you? maybe ill be able to get them done finally. Thanks so much, your car looks great!! loved the transformation. I am new here so I hope I am sending this message correctly. Thanks!
