Any idea how long it should take for a 3rd row + air suspension order?

Dealer thinks it might take a little longer.

Congrats. The wait is agonizing!

My M50i was in scheduled for production for a couple of weeks. Just hit the assembly line today. Based on other timelines that means it should be done today or tomorrow then on to quality check.

Congrats!! Mineral White is such a clean, classy look. Love mine in the sunlight, though not like I get much of that this time of year...

You're going to love it!

My car is at the port now since Friday.

How long does it usually take after this? I am in California.

My client advisor is not that helpful. All he said is that car should be here later this week or early next week.

I always had great luck with BMW's customer relations folks. If you call and track your order status using the phone system, you can then speak to a live rep in that department. They should be able to give you a dealer ETA. I believe west coast cars are shipped by rail versus trucking companies and they should be able to confirm if it was released to the carrier or not.

Air suspension is standard on UK models except 50D. Is it not elsewhere?

Thanks everyone!

The estimated delivery time is driving me bonkers.

My sales guy says X5 will be available to pick up tomorrow or day after (1/20 or /21).

But when I call customer relations, they say that car is in transit to VPC and it will reach there on 1/25. Then it will take 2-3 days to reach dealer. That means, I will pick up the car by end of January 2020.

As you can see, there's a huge mismatch on delivery times.

Now who is right here? Dealer or customer relations?

Thanks!

Hi everyone,

My X5 has still not arrived. It was supposed be here almost 2 weeks back but has not even reached the VPC.

Should I be concerned? Has anyone experienced the same or going through the same wait times?

My sales guys says that there's a rail delay. The car comes by train. I spoke to customer relations and they said the same. They hinted that there might be a strike going on at the VPC and there's no estimate on the delivery date as of now.

This is really bad compared to my M2 order that came from Germany in 4 weeks. I had my M2 in my hand within a month after production.
